Detailed Itinerary
Your adventure kicks off the moment you step out at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, where our representative will be right there to greet you and take you on a scenic drive up to Gangtok. The capital city has a way of welcoming every kind of traveller, whether you are chasing peace and quiet or looking for a little thrill. Sitting at 5,480 feet, it holds its place as one of the most visited destinations in the entire country, and it is easy to see why. The drive itself is a treat, with rhododendrons, orchids and delicate colourful butterflies keeping you company along the way. Once you reach the hotel, check in, put your feet up and let yourself breathe. The rest of the day is entirely yours to do as you please. When evening comes around, make your way to MG Marg, a lively and well loved marketplace where you can wander at your own pace and pick up some wonderful things to take back home. Keep an eye out for Thankas, Nepalese dresses, Tibetan carpets, bamboo and cane crafts, alpine cheese, hand woven jackets and even some electronics. Head back to the hotel when you are ready and settle in for a comfortable night in Gangtok.
